From an interactionist/perspectival viewpoint, there need be no conflict between objective value and value relativism. Einstein’s Theory of Relativity demolished the concept of absolute space and time without destroying the idea of objective reality by eliminating a privileged frame of reference. Similarly, one might accept value relativism while maintaining an objective value source by removing any privileged perspective. The source of value remains objective in the sense that it is not completely determined by any given point subjectivity, but from any a given perspective, value is experienced and judged relatively.
